Welcome to the 2027 AFGE Legislative Conference Website!

Conference Dates: The Legislative Conference will take place in person on Saturday, February 6 through Tuesday, February 9, 2027,

Conference Location: The conference is scheduled to take place at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. The hotel is located at 400 New Jersey Avenue in Washington, DC.

Conference Agenda: The agenda is available via the “Agenda” link above. Please know that this agenda is subject to change.

Congressional Visits: Monday, February 8, and Tuesday, February 9, are dedicated to Capitol Hill office visits and the rally, so we can meet with as many congressional offices as possible. Because official time may not be appropriate for these activities, members should take leave for both days, and should not use official time on February 8 or 9. 

The Rally on Capitol Hill: The rally will take place on Tuesday, February 9 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Conference App: All conference materials will be available in the Legislative Conference Mobile App during the conference.

Pre-Registration: Conference registration is now open. The “early bird” registration fee is $350 per participant. If you are attending the Civil Rights Dinner, hosted by the Women and Fair Practices department, please know that there is a separate fee of $100 to attend.

On-Site Registration: On-Site registration will take place at the Hyatt beginning Saturday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m.

Your Hotel Room Reservation: Click here to book your hotel room reservation at the Hyatt Regency Washington. The deadline to book your hotel room is Tuesday, January 5, 2027.  Note: If you reserve your hotel room at the Hyatt Washington by December 31, 2026, you will receive a one-time $10 coupon for the hotel’s restaurant. Please note that this coupon doesn’t cover alcohol.
