On behalf of NVP Jason Anderson and NVP Ruark Hotopp, we are excited to announce the upcoming 2026 AFGE Districts 7 & 8 Training Conference happening at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago O’Hare Rosemont from July 14-16, 2026.
Overview of Training Conference Agenda
Each attendee will take five (5) training sessions:
- Advanced Grievance Writing (4 hours)
- Change Bargaining (4 hours)
- Performance Issues (4 hours)
- Reasonable Accommodations (4 hours)
- Resolving Labor Disputes (8 hours)

All attendees are also invited to join on Wednesday, July 15th for our solidarity event and on Thursday, July 16th for our banquet.
Training Conference Registration:
There is no registration fee for the training conference or any additional costs for any social events (offsite solidarity event, banquet, etc.). Register by July 10th to ensure your spot. Onsite registration will only be offered if we have additional space.
